A motor convoy shelled in Kelbadjar District, Azerbaijani MoD reports

A convoy of vehicles with building materials was shelled upon in the zone of responsibility of the Russian peacekeepers in the Kelbadjar District, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan reported.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that Azerbaijan and Armenia regularly exchange accusations of violating the ceasefire in the Karabakh conflict zone and on the border of the two countries.

Today, at 2:00 p.m., the convoy of cars, which was driving through the village of Sugovushan (the Armenian name is Madagiz, or Matagis in another spelling, – note of the “Caucasian Knot) of the Terter District, was shelled near the village of Gozlukorpu. The vehicles were transporting goods for the construction of civil infrastructure in Kelbadjar, the press service for the Azerbaijani MoD reported on official website.

As a result of the shelling attack, a rear part, wheel, and chassis of a vehicle of the Military Automobile Inspectorate of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan have been damaged. “By a happy coincidence, no one was killed or wounded,” reports the press service for the Azerbaijani MoD.
