Social media users criticize awarding Kadyrov as "mobile reporter"

The "Grozny" TV Channel has awarded Ramzan Kadyrov with a prize as a "mobile reporter". This has surprised social network users, who could not understand for what merits the head of Chechnya has received the award.

The TV channel's website has reported that Kadyrov became the winner, as "he sends most exclusive reports from hard-to-reach places, often filmed in extreme conditions."

"Kadyrov has also presented exclusive footage of the animals living in his garden. In particular, he acquainted his subscribers with his parrot," the message says.

The video about Kadyrov's awarding received a lot of comments on the Instagram; some users ridiculed the fact.

Residents of Chechnya criticize Kadyrov for expensive gifts he grants to famous people, but criticism of such generosity is indifferent to him even on the eve of elections, analysts have noted after he gave a Mercedes to Dagestani blogger Khasbik in July. YouTube users have noted that the head of the republic gives expensive cars at the expense of the budget.

Let us remind you that in March 2008, Kadyrov received a certificate of a member of the Union of Journalists of Russia, but the next day the Union's secretariat cancelled the decision as being contrary to the charter.
