Residents of Makhachkala suburb report clashes with law enforcers

In the Makhachkala district of Krasnoarmeyskoye, clashes broke out with policemen, who, in response to stones thrown at them, opened fire in the air, local residents inform.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 13-14, residents of the district protested, demanding permits for building houses in the land plots promised to them by the authorities.

The land conflict in Krasnoarmeyskoye lasts for several years. In October 2017, law enforcers dispersed the locals who opposed the demolition of houses and detained ten people.

On Tuesday (September 22), there were some disorders in Krasnoarmeyskoye related to the land issue, the "Chernovik" (Draft) weekly writes with reference to local residents. According to their version, after the OMON (riot police) detachment arrived at the dwelling settlement, clashes broke out, and stones were thrown at the policemen. In response, they began shooting in the air.
