Public apologies do not stop discussion about death of Gudermes woman

A video appeal from a woman from Chechnya with a request not to disseminate the version of the violent death of her daughter provoked dissatisfaction among Instagram users. They noted that persistent attempts to justify relatives of the husband of the deceased woman caused distrust.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 12, the 23-year-old mother of three children died. After reports on social networks claiming that the young woman fell victim to domestic violence, her mother succeeded in seeking the exhumation and forensic examination. However, after the leader of Chechnya had met the husband of the deceased woman, her mother apologized for the statement about the violent death of her daughter.

In a video posted on Instagram public accounts "eldit_net" and "ChP Grozny_95", Akhmad Salamov, a participant of the meeting with Ramzan Kadyrov, stated it became clear from the results of the meeting that the husband of the deceased woman from Gudermes and his relatives had not been involved in her death.

Following Akhmad Salamov, the mother of the deceased woman repeats that she asked for forgiveness from the husband of her daughter and his relatives and swears that no one intimidated her.

Instagram users have associated the apologies voiced by the mother of the deceased woman with the desire to see her grandchildren.
