Manvel Grigoryan transferred to resuscitation ward

The authorities and the judicial system of Armenia are responsible for the deterioration of the condition of Manvel Grigoryan, a former member of the Armenian parliament, who is not allowed to be treated abroad, the defence claims.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that advocates insist on the release of Manvel Grigoryan from custody, referring to his complaints about his health. However, the court repeatedly refuses to grant the defence's requests.

Today, Manvel Grigoryan has been transferred to the resuscitation ward of the "Nairi" medical centre, and his life is in danger, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has been informed by Levon Bagdasaryan, an advocate of the defendant.

According to the advocate, the country's authorities and judicial system are responsible for the deterioration of the Manvel Grigoryan's health. "The defence has repeatedly insisted on the need for his medical treatment abroad. However, all our complaints remained unanswered," emphasized the advocate.
