Azerbaijan registers 30 cases of shelling from Armenian side over a day

Positions of the Azerbaijani army have been shelled in two districts, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Azerbaijan reports today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 2, Azerbaijan reported about machine gun shelling at its eight villages. In total, the Azerbaijani MoD registered 46 cases of shelling during 24 hours from January 1 to 2.

"Over a day, units of the Armenian armed forces 30 times violated the ceasefire regime in different directions of the front," reports today the Azerbaijani MoD on its website.

According to the Azerbaijani MoD, the positions of the Azerbaijani army were shelled in the villages of Asrik Jyrdakhan and Agbulag in the Tovuz District and on nameless heights in the Gadabay District.
