Baku: house tenants evacuated because of fire

Seven persons were evacuated from apartments of a burning house in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan; in total, 25 house tenants were relocated to a safe area, the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) has reported.

The fire occurred today in a store located on the ground floor of a residential building in the Yasamal District of Baku, at No. 81 Gusein Djavid Avenue, the Azerbaijani MfE has added.

Fire-fighters rescued seven persons, including two children, after they had evacuated 25 tenants to a safe area. The fire was extinguished, the APA News Agency has reported.

There is no information about casualties and victims.
