Shamil Nurmagomedov's father detained in Moscow

Today, Moscow law enforcers have detained Kazim Nurmagomedov, a father of a native of Makhachkala, accused of financing terrorists. This has been reported by an advocate.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Shamil Nurmagomedov, a native of Makhachkala and the commercial director of a company registered in the Moscow Region, was accused of financing the "Islamic State" (IS), a terrorist organization, banned in Russia by court.

Kazim Nurmagomedov, the father of the accused man, appealed to the online legal service of the "Caucasian Knot" and reported the unreasonable criminal prosecution of his son.

Today, Kazim Nurmagomedov has been detained at the exit from the court building, the "Caucasian Knot" was informed by an advocate of Shamil Nurmagomedov.

"They motivated the detention by the need to check documents and identify the man," the advocate said.

According to him, Kazim Nurmagomedov was taken to the Basmannoe OVD (Interior Division). "We are going there. If we are not allowed entering the building, we will appeal to the authorities," the advocate explained.

Let us remind you that Shamil Nurmagomedov was accused of aiding and abetting terrorists after his brother Marat joined the IS*. The "Caucasian Knot" published an interview with their father Kazim Nurmagomedov entitled "Bring back alive: From Dagestan to ISIL* to return the son".

*"Islamic State" (IS, ISIL) is a terrorist organization, banned in Russia by court.
