Magomed Dukuzov detained in Kiev under Khlebnikov's murder case

In Kiev, Magomed Dukuzov, who had been on the international wanted list, has been detained, the spokeswoman of Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has reported, adding that Dukuzov was accused of involvement in the murder of Paul Khlebnikov, the editor-in-chief of the Russian version of the "Forbes" magazine.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 18, the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) reported the detention of two natives of Chechnya, one of whom "had taken part in contract killings, in particular, of Paul Khlebnikov, a US citizen."

Mr Khlebnikov was shot dead in Moscow on July 9, 2004. Magomed and Kazbek Dukuzov, as well as Khozh-Akhmed Nukhaev, who was regarded by investigators to be the customer of the murder, were put on the international wanted list.
