Two Russian soldiers die in "Alagyaz" Armenian training ground

In Armenia, a Russian serviceman has accidentally shot his colleague dead from a submachine gun, and then committed suicide, the press service of the Southern Military District (SMD) reports.

According to the press service, on October 23, at the "Alagyaz" training ground, a contract serviceman, while handing over his submachine gun after exercises, flagrantly violated safety requirements, made an occasional shot and mortally wounded his colleague, another contract serviceman.

After that, the shooter got afraid of responsibility for the death of his colleague and committed suicide, the "Interfax" reports with reference to the press service of the SMD.

A special SMD's commission is working at the venue, studying the details, the TASS has added.
