Resident of Ingushetia disappears on his way to Vladikavkaz

On the day of his disappearance, Magomed Mamatov, a resident of Karabulak, who got lost on his way to Vladikavkaz, noticed that he was shadowed, Magomed Mutsolgov, the head of the human rights organization "Mashr", has reported.

The message on Mamatov’s disappearance arrived at the SMS-service of the "Caucasian Knot" on September 6.

Mr Mutsolgov has explained that in the morning on August 20, Mamatov left for Vladikavkaz to buy spare parts for his car, and disappeared on that very day.

In the afternoon, Mamatov telephoned his relatives and said that people in three cars were following him.

"Mamatov said that if he didn’t contact them in an hour again, it meant he was caught," said Magomed Mutsolgov.

After that, Mamatov did not get in touch; and his relatives filed an application to the police about his disappearance. The car, in which he left, was found on September 7.

Reports appeared in social networks that Mamatov's body had been found; however, there is no data on his murder, said Mutsolgov, adding that Mamatov has an "absolutely normal family," but there are law enforcers among his relatives.
