NKR’s MoD announces capture of Azerbaijani soldier

One Azerbaijani soldier was captured and another one was wounded in the action of a sabotage group, said the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the unrecognized republic.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Azerbaijani MoD said that today during the shelling from the Armenian party the Sergeant Rauf Isaev was wounded.

The MoD of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) has treated this statement as a confirmation of the losses suffered by the Azerbaijani party at an attempt of a sabotage penetration into the territory controlled by the Karabakh Army.

A scouting-sabotage group tried to cross the contact line of troops today around 3 p.m. local time, under the shelter of a fog, said the press service of the NKR’s MoD. "As a result of anti-sabotage actions, servicemen of the Karabakh Army captured Elnur Khussein-Zadeh, a native of the city of Barda, born in 1995, a soldier of the Azerbaijani Army," the MoD has stated.
