Residents of Makhachkala Separatorny village hold gathering after demolition of house wall

In Makhachkala, a gathering was held after a special vehicle broke down a wall in a private household, built on a land plot by residents of Separatorny village. Participants of the gathering accuse representatives of a local mosque of demolition of the wall.

On January 15, activists posted on Youtube the video "Demolition of fence in Separatorny village in Makhachkala by unidentified persons". The video shows how a special vehicle drove up to a wall of a private house and demolished it with a bucket.

Owners of the house argue that the wall was demolished by representatives of the local mosque. The villagers had a hope to discuss the incident at the gathering with Imam Magomed Mamatkhanov or other representatives of the mosque. However, none of the religious figures came to the gathering, the "Chernovik" (Draft) reports.

The mosque in Khurshilov Street in Separatorny village was opened in last September. After its opening, according to the villagers, tenants of neighbouring houses started having problems.
