In Dagestan, investigators associate basic version of Judge Magomedov's murder with his professional activities

According to the investigators, the main version of the murder of Ubaidula Magomedov, Judge of the Shamil District Court, is associated with his professional activities. Meanwhile, the victim was not under state protection, and there is no information about the threats against him.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the evening of August 10, the federal judge was killed in his house in the village of Asab of the Shamil District of Dagestan. According to a source from the law enforcement bodies, one of the versions of the murder may be associated with the judge's principled position against members of illegal armed formations.

The criminal case was instituted on the fact of the murder under Articles "attempt on life of a person administering justice" and "illicit arms trafficking", reports the Investigating Department for Dagestan of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).
