Ramzan Kadyrov: reports on arson of Ramazan Djalaldinov's house are false

Ramazan Djalaldinov, who complained to President Vladimir Putin about corruption in the Chechen village of Kenkhi, had simulated the arson of his house. This was claimed by the acting Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in his video appeal to Vladimir Putin, posted on YouTube on April 14, Djalaldinov told that residents of the Avar village of Kenkhi cannot, without paying huge bribes, receive compensations for their destroyed housing, and the good teachers are "squeezed out" of the village by withdrawing their salaries. On April 16, Kenkhi villagers held a gathering, at which they publicly condemned Djalaldinov. On May 12, the house of the Ramazan Djalaldinov's family in the village of Kenkhi was burned down, and his wife and children had to leave for Dagestan, where the very author of the complaint found a shelter. On May 13, in a released video, the eldest daughter of Ramazan Djalaldinov claimed that their house in the village of Kenkhi was burned down by law enforcers, and his wife said that law enforcers threatened her with violence and forced her to defame her husband.

"They write that someone set fire to the Ramazan Djalaldinov's house. It is a lie. I have proposed to carry out a very thorough check. According to the operational information, Ramazan Djalaldinov brought his family out of the republic and simulated the arson of his house. He has already got experience in trespassing against the law. During past years, the Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), and the Investigating Committee 11 times refused to open criminal cases on his complaints," wrote Ramzan Kadyrov in the evening of May 13 on his Instagram page.
