Relative of high-ranking policeman wounded in Makhachkala

In Makhachkala, in the course of a domestic conflict, a relative of a senior police officer has suffered, said a law enforcement source, adding that the man was hospitalized with gunshot wounds.

The incident occurred in the evening on May 1. After the victim was taken to the Republic's Traumatological Centre, it was surrounded by law enforcers and police cars.

The hospital has confirmed his hospitalization. The victim is under intensive care; the circumstances of the conflict are unknown, says the edition named "Novoe Delo" (New Business).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 19, at the children-youth sports school of the village of Terekli-Mekteb in the Nogai District of Dagestan, during a conflict of coaches, one of them used a pistol and a knife. Two men were wounded; children did not suffer.
