Candidates for Prize "Crystal Compass" present projects on nature of Northern Caucasus
Projects from all over Russia, including the Rostov Region, the Krasnodar Territory and the republics of Northern Caucasus, are contending for the Awards "Crystal Compass" in ten categories covering the areas of geography, ecology, conservation and promotion of natural, historical and cultural heritage.
The website of the Award offers its visitors to choose the winner in one of the nominations – "Public Recognition"; while the winners in other nominations will be defined by the board of experts. The winners will receive diplomas and statuettes; no financial awards are envisioned.
"The winners will receive statuettes and diplomas; and then we'll cover their activities; thus, the informational support helps to prolong the life of projects," a source from the press service of the Award told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
The organizers of the Award are the Krasnodar Territorial Branch of the Russian Geographical Society and the Corporate Association "Gazprom in Kuban". The contest was launched in 2012; now, it is held for the fourth time.
