In Nalchik, damage from special operation in Musov Street estimated at 2.3 million roubles
The problem of compensation for the damage caused by the special operation carried out in Nalchik in August 2015 has been solved. About 2.3 million roubles are allocated for the above purpose. 1.45 million roubles are planned to be paid to citizens who have lost their properties. This was reported by the head of the Chief Directorate for Kabardino-Balkaria of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies (MfE).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 3, 2015, a special operation was carried out in a house located in Musov Street. According to the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), six persons were killed, including a man suspected of the murder of Takhir Guziev, the chief of the headquarters of the Division for the Cherek District of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), committed at night of July 31, 2015. The Kabardino-Balkarian authorities promised to pay monetary compensation to tenants of the apartments affected by the special operation, except those where the militants were hiding.
About 2.3 million roubles have been allocated from the federal and republican budgets for compensation of the damage inflicted by the special operation, the RIA "Kabardino-Balkaria" reports with reference to Mikhail Nadezhin, the head of the Chief Department for Kabardino-Balkaria of the Russian MfE.
Till present, the terms and procedure for payment of compensation have not been specified.
Earlier, the tenants of the affected house have reported that a month after the special operation, no repair works were started in the house in Musov Street, while the condition of the building itself was disappointing.
