Magomedgusen Nasrutdinov sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment
Today, the Supreme Court (SC) of Dagestan has sentenced Magomedgusen Nasrutdinov, the former Deputy Prime Minister of Dagestan, to 5 years of imprisonment and a fine of 1 million roubles.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Magomedgusen Nasrutdinov accused of organizing in 2002 a fraudulent transaction between Limited Liability Company (LLC) "Dagestanregiongaz" and Joint-Stock Company (JSC) "Daggaz", as a result of which, the gas networks of nine municipalities of Dagestan worth 200 million roubles had been sold for 58 million roubles. The Prosecutor's Office asked the court to sentence Magomedgusen Nasrutdinov to 8.5 years of imprisonment. The defendant himself has pleaded not guilty.
