NAC: persons killed in Leninkent were involved in blowing up motor convoy

One of those killed in the Makhachkala settlement of Leninkent was identified as Kamil Magomedov, the leader of local militants. He was involved in undermining the convoy with militaries of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) on March 29, the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) has reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has informed that on April 13 in Leninkent, in the course of power agents' special operation, three suspected militants were killed.

According to law enforcers, they had been involved in a number of crimes. One of them was Kamil Magomedov, born in 1986, the leader of a local militant grouping, said the NAC.

"It was established that this bandit grouping committed numerous attempts on lives of law enforcers and armed assaults on the civilian population, including the undermining this March of a motor convoy of MIA servicemen," the "Interfax" quotes the statement of the NAC's information centre.
