ICRF names attackers on Novoselitsk ROVD

The persons, who attacked the Novoselitsk ROVD (District Interior Division) of the Stavropol Territory, have been officially identified as earlier convicted Zaur Akaev, Ramazan Khaibulaev and Isai Abdulatipov, said the spokesman of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today an attack was committed on the building of the Novoselitsk ROVD. According to law enforcement bodies, as a result of the attack there were no civilian or police casualties; only the three attackers themselves died: two were killed and one committed a self-explosion. A law enforcement source has stated that the attack was committed by three residents of one of local villages.

This information about attackers was confirmed by a source from the press service of the ICRF. He added that Zaur Akaev, born in 1983, was the oldest of them. Ramazan Khaibulaev was born in 1991; and Isai Abdulatipov – in 1996.

All the three had been earlier convicted, including for murder. They lived in the village of Kitaevskoe, the "Interfax" quotes the ICRF source.
