121 soldiers stay in hospitals of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh
121 soldiers wounded in Nagorno-Karabakh continue to receive medical treatment in hospitals in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. Of them, ten are in serious condition.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at night of April 2, the situation in the Karabakh conflict zone was escalated. On April 5, the parties to the conflict declared a truce. Nagorno-Karabakh reported that 32 soldiers of the Defence Army were killed, 25 others were missed in action, and 121 were wounded. Azerbaijan reported on 31 killed soldiers.
In general, 121 soldiers stay in hospitals, reported Colonel Kamavor Khachatryan, the commander of the medical department of the Armenian armed forces. Of them, ten stay in severe condition. The other wounded soldiers will be discharged in the coming days.
According to Colonel Kamavor Khachatryan, 32 soldiers wounded in Nagorno-Karabakh are receiving medical treatment at the Yerevan central clinical hospital "Muratsan".
Colonel Kamavor Khachatryan has reported that on April 6, when two soldiers were killed on the border, an ambulance car was shelled by tanks on the road. According to him, at the moment of shelling, medics were not inside the car, but the ambulance car was destroyed.
All the wounded soldiers were provided with first aid in medical facilities near their positions and then were transported to hospitals, Colonel Kamavor Khachatryan has added.
