Nagorno-Karabakh accuses Azerbaijan of terrorism
According to David Babayan, the chief of the Central Information Department of the Nagorno-Karabakh Presidential Administration, Azerbaijan has expressed its readiness to commit an act of terrorism by declaring its intention to shell Stepanakert.
The "Caucasian Knot" reported that, according to Vagif Dyargakhly, the chief of the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD), the Defence Minister would give the order to start artillery strikes on Stepanakert "in case if Armenia does not stop shelling Azerbaijani villages."
At night of April 2, the situation around the Karabakh conflict has sharply escalated. According to the UN, on April 2 and 3, at least 30 soldiers and three civilians were killed, and at least 200 other people were injured.
David Babayan has not ruled out that Baku "also may become a target for the units of the Defence Army."
Let us remind you that today, the Armenian MoD has threatened Azerbaijan with a "disproportionate stroke of counterforce retaliation" in case if Stepanakert is shelled.
