Two NKR servicemen killed in conflict zone
The servicemen Kamo Ovannisyan and Temur Suloyan have died in the Karabakh conflict zone from gunshot wounds, said the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR).
According to the press service of the MoD, the incident occurred today at 7:00 a.m. local time "at the defensive point of one of military units in the south-eastern direction."
"As a result of the incident, the servicemen of the Defence Army Kamo Ovannisyan and Temur Suloyan, both born in 1997, received fatal gunshot wounds," says the statement posted on the website of the MoD of the NKR.
The press service has added that the circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported, referring to the MoD of the NKR, that on February 18 another serviceman of Defence Army – David Terteryan – perished in the Karabakh conflict zone under unclear circumstances.
