NKR's serviceman killed in conflict zone

A soldier David Terteryan was killed in the conflict zone "in unclear circumstances", said the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR).

According to the MoD, the incident occurred today at about 1:00 p.m. local time "at one of defence posts of a military unit deployed in the eastern direction."

"In unclear circumstances, David Terteryan, born in 1997, a serviceman of the NKR's Defence Army, received a fatal gunshot wound," the spokesman of the MoD of the NKR told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to his story, an investigation is underway into the soldier's death.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 12 an Azerbaijani serviceman was killed in the Karabakh conflict zone. According to the MoD of Azerbaijan, Junior Sergeant Zeinalov was shot dead, when the Armenian party violated the ceasefire.
