The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the trial on the murder case of Musail Alaudinov has begun today at the Supreme Court (SC) of Dagestan. Three local residents are accused of committing the murder; the alleged customer of the murder has been put on the wanted list.
Musail Alaudinov was killed on July 9, 2013, on the highway Makhachkala-Kaspiysk. Ramazan Khanmagomedov, Magomed Gadjiev and Arslan Tagirov were detained and arrested as suspects of committing the murder.
According to investigators, the customer of Alaudinov's murder was Murad Alibekov, Director of the VNK network of fuelling stations. All the three defendants refused to plead guilty.
Arsen Kurbanov, a friend of Alaudinov, said that he "had not heard of any serious Alaudinov's conflicts, which could cause death."
The court also questioned Kurbanmuslim Alaudinov, Musail's brother. According to his version, Musail Alaudinov "was acquainted with the owner of the VNK and, therefore, fuelled his car there." He said that in June 2013 "information appeared that they want to kill Musail."
