Power agents refute information about the CTO regime in Makhachkala

Shamil Avenue was closed with the aim of conducting targeted checks; information about blocking a house with militants is not true, said a law enforcement source of Dagestan.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today power agents have blocked a section of Imam Shamil Avenue between Tashkent and Agasiev Streets. Also, information appeared about evacuation of tenants of a house in the avenue, where a group of members of the armed underground was allegedly blocked.

"Yes, Shamil Avenue was closed for the time of targeted checks. But riot police have blocked nobody. It's unclear, where media have got their information about the alleged six militants, storm of the apartment and the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime," said a law enforcement source as quoted by the RIA "Dagestan".
