Azerbaijan states killing Armenian soldiers at border

The Armed Forces of Armenia violated the ceasefire by using heavy machine guns; in response, Azerbaijani troops inflicted a fire attack, destroying military vehicles and killing enemy soldiers, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported today, and disseminated a video of the incident; however, the video has traces of cutting and editing.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the situation in the Karabakh conflict zone remains tense. On February 5, Nagorno-Karabakh accused Azerbaijan of killing Simon Chavrshyan, a conscript. On February 4, the Azerbaijani party stated that during armed clashes its soldier Imran Mirzaev and three Armenian soldiers were killed.

For the last 24 hours, Armenia violated ceasefire in different sections of the frontline for 101 times, says the today's statement of the Azerbaijani MoD.

"In view of the operative situation, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces inflicted 102 fire blows on the enemy's positions," the APA quotes the MoD's message.

Today, the website of the Azerbaijani MoD has posted a video, showing, according to the ministry, the fire attack on the Armenian positions.

In the first few seconds of the record it is really seen that people are close to some military equipment, but then the video breaks for a moment; and after that, it shows the same positions under fire, but no people are seen in the area of shelling.

Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh have not yet commented on the statements of the Azerbaijani party.
