Law enforcers identify a man killed in car shelling in Nazran

In the evening of February 2, at the centre of Nazran, a car was shelled near the shopping complex "21st Century". As a result, a man and a woman inside the car were killed.

The killed man has been preliminary identified as Abuyazit Buzurtanov, a 30-year-old resident of Ingushetia. The deceased female passenger of the car has not been identified yet, reports the "TASS" with reference to the press service of the Investigating Department for Ingushetia of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

According to the Ingush Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the Lada Priora car was shelled, presumably, from automatic firearms at about 6:00 p.m. of February 2. According to the ICRF's Department for Ingushetia, there were two attackers, and they fled to some unknown destination, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

The investigators are considering various versions of the attack, including a domestic conflict and an attack committed by armed extremists, the "Komsomolskaya Pravda in the StavropolTerritory" reports.
