A contract soldier of the 102nd Russian military base in Gyumri tried to break into the apartment of local residents. Now, Armenian law enforcers are finding out whether the incident contains any attributes of a crime.
The incident occurred on February 1 at midnight. According to a local resident Ruzanna Eranosyan, a drunken soldier tried to break through the door of her apartment.
"We called the police," said the woman, as quoted by the "NEWS.am".
The detainee gave explanations that he had mixed up the house. According to the soldier, he was in his friend's flat in a nearby house, where they drank; and then he decided to return home in a taxi. However, he failed to take one, and decided to return to his friend and spend the night there.
