Authorities of Shelkovskaya District state absence of complaints about extortions from state servants

The administration of the Shelkovskaya District of Chechnya has received no complaints about retentions from salaries of state employees, said Shamkhan Arsanukaev, the deputy head of the district administration. However, residents of Chechnya point to cases when applications about extortions are recalled because of pressure.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that relatives of employees of the State Fiscal Institution "Complex Centre of Social Services" of the Shelkovskaya District complained about regular extortions.

The Prosecutor's Office of Chechnya decided to check the data on extortions, saying that the regional State Labour Inspectorate will be involved in the check.

Shamkhan Arsanukaev, who oversees the social block of the district, promised to check the issue and report on the results, the "Chechen Republic Today" reports.

Raisa Baisultanova and Zaiman Asueva, the employees of the above "Complex Centre", state that they do not know, from where the information about the extortions had appeared, The "Grozny-Inform" reports.

The prosecutors' check of extortions from salaries as reported by the HRC "Memorial" will give no results, said the head of one of local NGOs. He notes that state employees in Chechnya are rightless and dependent people.

Let us note here that, according to the HRC "Memorial", earlier the Shelkovskaya District was already checked for extortions from salaries of social protection employees.
