3 Chechen policemen killed in clash

As reported by correspondents of the Society for Russian-Chechen Friendship, an armed clash between Chechen policemen and rebels occurred in the vicinity of the village of Dzhani-Vedeno, Chechnya's Vedeno district, on June 2. Locals say three Chechen policemen were killed in the clash. No information about the separatists' losses has been received.
