Examination confirms bodily harm inflicted to Suzi Gevorkyan
In Yerevan, a criminal case has been instituted in connection with the attack on activist Suzi Gevorkyan. She has undergone the appointed forensic medical examination, and it has confirmed the diagnosis of "brain concussion", reports the Investigating Committee of Armenia.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Suzi Gevorkyan was beaten in Yerevan on January 5. In the same evening, the activist has filed a complaint to the police about the attack. She was diagnosed with brain concussion.
According to an official from the Investigating Committee of Armenia, the criminal case was instituted on the basis of the Suzi Gevorkyan's complaint stating that on January 5, "two unidentified men attacked her, threw her to the pavement and started kicking her with their feet, including in her head."
According to the forensic medical examination, "Suzi Gevorkyan is diagnosed with bodily injuries in the form of bleeding in the upper eyelid of her left eye and traumatic brain injury from a stroke with a hard blunt item," clarifies the official from the Investigating Committee of Armenia.
