Bottaev's seat in KBR's Parliament taken by Talip Makitov
The MP's mandate of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) that belonged to Khadis Bottaev, killed in December 2015, has been handed over to businessman Talip Makitov.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Khadis Bottaev, an MP and Chief Physician of the KBR's Republic's Clinical Hospital, was killed on December 5, 2015, in his house in the village of Khasanya. On December 10, Zalim Khamukov, the head of the legal division of the KBR's Central Election Commission (CEC), said that the MP's mandate that became vacant after Bottaev's death would be transferred to a candidate from the list nominated by the "Edinaya Rossiya" (United Russia) Party.
On January 14, the KBR's CEC registered Talip Makitov as an MP of the fifth convocation, said the website of the CEC.
The 53-year-old Makitov, Director General of the Closed Joint-Stock Company (COJC) "Kontrakt-Galantereya", was an MP of the fourth convocation. He was the 94th in the above list of the "Edinaya Rossiya", the RIA "Kabardino-Balkaria" reports.
