"Rosobrnadzor" bans to recruit students by DSU's Branch in Derbent
Recruiting entrants to the Derbent Branch of the Dagestan State University (DSU) is prohibited because of failure to fulfil the demands of the supervising authority – the Russian Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Sciences (Rosobrnadzor). However, Murtazali Rabadanov, the Rector of the DSU, states that all the claims and drawbacks have already been corrected, removed and presented to the "Rosobrnadzor".
According to Mr Rabadanov, in the course of checking documents of the Branch by employees of the "Rosobrnadzor", violations were revealed; and it was prescribed to timely eliminate them.
"However, because of the negligence and carelessness, the management of the Branch had failed to draw up new students' contracts in accordance with the new Law 'On Education'," the RIA "Dagestan" quotes the Rector of the DSU as saying.
He has stressed that all the remarks had been corrected in accordance with the new legislation.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in September 2014 the "Rosobrnadzor" also banned to take entrants to the Secular Institute of Caucasian Nations in Khasavyurt, due to the fact that it had failed to eliminate the violations. On October 9, 2015, the license of the above Secular Institute was cancelled.
