Rescue team finds eleventh deceased oilman from platform "Gunashli"

In the Caspian Sea, a rescue team has found the body of the 11th oilman, who died in a fire on the platform of the Azerbaijani oil field "Gunashli" in December 2015.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 4, 2015, during a hurricane, a fire occurred on the offshore platform No. 10 of the oil field "Gunashli". The rescue teams have managed to save 33 oilmen working there. However, the storm wind and high waves hampered the rescue operation. As of January 4, 10 bodies of the deceased persons were found.

One more body of a man in clothes with the inscription AZ SOCAR has been found 55 kilometres from the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea, and it has been sent to the sea port of Turkmenbashi. The Azerbaijani side has already been informed about that, the "Interfax" reports with reference to the press service of the National Oil Company "SOCAR".

As of today, 19 people are put on the list of the persons missing after the fire, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
