Detentions
On December 29, 2015, Gadjimurad Gazichilov, a resident of Makhachkala, went missing. On that day, he went out of the fuelling station in Akhmet-Khan Sultan Street, headed for the "traffic ring" in of Hungarian Warriors Street, and since then, there were no contacts with him. Gazichilov worked as a salesman in a shop of motor paints; and he had had no problems with law enforcement bodies. According to his relatives, he could be kidnapped by people close to the power structures because of his relative relations with Shamil Nurmagomedov, who was killed on December 27 in the Gunib District in a shootout with power agents. On January 6, it was reported that Gazichilov had been detained; and on January 8, by judgement of the City Court of Buynaksk, he was arrested for one month. No official charges have been brought against him yet, but, according to law enforcement bodies, ammunition and a grenade were found on Gazichilov at detention.
