Armenian resident charged with murder in "Musaler" restaurant
The investigating bodies of Armenia have accused Arthur Babayan, 31, of shooting in "Musaler" restaurant, murder, attempted murder, hooliganism and illegal arms circulation.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 6 the shooting in "Musaler" in the Armavir Region killed Aram Karapetyan, 22, while Armen Khlgatyan, 35, the head of the community of Taronik, was hospitalized by Yerevan hospital. The police have reported the establishment of three suspects of the shooting: Arthur Babayan, Armen Paravyan and Khoren Khachikyan.
According to investigators, on January 6, 2016, in the territory of "Musaler" complex, several young men violated the public order and used violence against the staff of the complex and Taronik villagers Aram Karapetyan and Armen Khlgatyan.
Investigators believe that during a quarrel, Babayan fired shots at Karapetyan and Khlgatyan; the former died from received gunshot wounds.
Armen Khlgatyan, who was wounded in the shooting, was operated on and is already in the routine hospital ward. According to doctors, his health state is stable; he has no post-surgery complications, the "NEWS.am" reports.
