A resolution has been signed on paying compensations for renting housing facilities; however, the tenants of the multi-storeyed house damaged by explosion have not applied for compensations to the operative headquarters, said the head of the Dzerzhinsky District of Volgograd. A woman-tenant of the house said that they are discussing the charter of the public organization "Tragedy at Kosmonavtov 47".

According to the city administration, application for issuance of housing certificates, needed to buy new apartments, have been submitted by more than half of the 108 families, living in the house. Earlier, tenants said that the proposed resettlement conditions did not match the situation in the real estate market.
The operative headquarters is still at work in the administration of the Dzerzhinsky District of Volgograd entitled to help the victims of the explosion, said Sergey Tatsiy, the head of the district administration.
"As of December 31, 86 people wrote applications for inclusion into the list of those who lost their housing," he said.
