CTO regime cancelled in Gunib District of Dagestan
Law enforcers have reported on the completion of all operational activities in the Gunib District of Dagestan. The counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime has been cancelled today at 1:00 p.m.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 27, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime was introduced within the administrative boundaries of the Gunib District. On December 28, the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reported on killing of a militant, who was preliminary identified as Shamil Nurmagomedov, the leader of the "Sogratl" criminal grouping.
"Today at 1:00 p.m., in the Gunib District, the CTO legal regime has been cancelled in connection with the completion of all operational activities," reported an official from the Operational Headquarters of the National Antiterrorist Committee for Dagestan as quoted by the "TASS".
The law enforcer has emphasized that the CTO legal regime had been cancelled due to the completion of all operational activities.
