CTO legal regime introduced in Tsumada District

Law enforcers conduct a special operation in the territories of three villages of the Tsumada District and in the area of Mount Alak. This was reported by an official from the operational headquarters for Dagestan.

According to him, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime was introduced at 5:30 a.m. Moscow time. The law enforcers are searching for members of illegal armed formations (IAFs).

"The CTO legal regime is introduced in the villages of Gimerso, Ghigatli, Khushtada, and in the area of Mount Alak of the Tsumada District of Dagestan," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the official from the operational headquarters for Dagestan as reporting.

According to the law enforcer, a series of special measures and temporary restrictions will be introduced for the period of the CTO until further notice.
