Believers of Salafi mosque detained in Buynaksk

In the town of Buynaksk, according to local residents, 10-12 believers were detained. Five mosque-goers were brought to the police station for checking of their passports, the law enforcement bodies report.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 13, in Buynaksk, according to eyewitnesses, policemen detained about 40 believers of the Salafi mosque. Late at night, all the detainees were released.

"Attacks on believers of the mosque in Buynaksk are continued. Today, first believers, who came to the mosque for Jumuah prayer, were taken away from the mosque," said one of the mosque-goers. According to him, later, all the believers, who came to the mosque in Makhachkala Highway for prayer, were detained.

Let us remind you that on November 6, law enforcers carried out detentions of believers of the Salafi mosque, and shooting in the air was heard, witnesses report. According to them, two persons were detained. Officials from the GOVD (City Interior Division) have reported that no detainees were brought to their place.
