Defence files complaint about arrest of Ruslan Mukhudinov in absentia

The decision of the Basmanny Court of Moscow, which issued a warrant for arrest in absentia of Ruslan Mukhudinov, an officer of the battalion "Sever" (North), accused of the organization of the murder of politician Boris Nemtsov, has been challenged by the defence.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 6, investigators charged Ruslan Mukhudinov in absentia for the organization of the Boris Nemtsov's murder. On November 16, Ruslan Mukhudinov was put on the international wanted list. On November 18, he was arrested in absentia.

"I have filed a complaint, in which I request to cancel the decision of the Court as unfounded. The findings made by the Judge do not correspond to the actual case materials," Khavash Khadisov has stated as quoted by the "RAPSI" (Russian Agency of Legal and Judicial Information).

Earlier, the term of arrest of Ruslan Mukhudinov has been determined as two months from the time of his detention, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
