Law enforcers find ammunition in house of Ingush resident
FSB agents detained a resident of the village of Ekazhevo, in whose house more than 170 rounds of ammunition were found during the search. This was reported by the press service of the Chief Department for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
"During the inspection of the house and yard belonging to a 33-year-old resident of the village of Ekazhevo, law enforcers discovered and seized more than 170 different rounds and a fore grip for a Kalashnikov submachine gun," reports the website of the MIA's Chief Department for the NCFD on November 6.
The seized items were sent for examination, and the owner of the house was brought to the FSB Department for Ingushetia, the press service of the MIA's Chief Department for the NCFD reports.
The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that on November 4, FSB agents discovered two hidings with explosives not far from the road Kantyshevo-Achaluki in Ingushetia. According to combat engineers, the total capacity of the discovered explosives exceeded 3.5 tons of TNT equivalent. According to the FSB, the explosives belonged to the leaders of North-Caucasian militants: Aslan Byutukaev and Beslan Makhauri. The latter had been killed in Ingushetia earlier.
