Seven persons killed in road traffic accident involving bus "Moscow-Yerevan"
Today, in the Tula Region, a road traffic accident has occurred. It involved a bus on route "Moscow-Yerevan". The accident killed seven persons, and 35 others were injured and brought to medical institutions.
The road traffic accident occurred at 2:10 a.m. Moscow time at the 220th kilometre of the road M4 "Don". The accident killed seven persons, and 35 passengers were hospitalized, the "Interfax" reports with reference to Andrei Yartsev, the head of the press service of the Department for the Tula Region of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
According to the preliminary information, the Haiger bus slid into a ditch, the website of the Chief Department for the Tula Region of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) reports.
Investigators consider two versions of the road traffic accident: according to the first version, the driver fell asleep, and according to the second version, the accident resulted from a technical failure of the vehicle.
