Syrian portal reports on death of member of "Imarat Kavkaz"

In Syria, during the operation of government forces, the leader of the organization "Imarat Kavkaz", banned in Russia, was killed, the portal "Surya al-Ain" reports.

Today, soldiers of the Syrian army have liberated five residential settlements in the south-western suburbs of Aleppo. This was reported by the spokesman of the armed forces of the Syrian Arab Republic.

According to him, during the operation, the leader of the "Imarat Kavkaz", consisting of mercenaries, was killed, the "TASS" reports with reference to the information portal "Surya al-Ain" and notes that the name of the killed man is not reported.

Till present, the websites supporting the Caucasian militants have not yet confirmed the information.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in August, in the course of the special operation in the Untsukul District of Dagestan, Magomed Suleimanov, the leader of the "Imarat Kavkaz", was killed. According to the experts interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot", out of surviving reputable militants in Northern Caucasus, Zalim Shebzukhov and Aslambek Vadalov are on the leading positions. Meanwhile, according to the experts, Aslambek Vadalov has much more chances to become the leader of the "Imarat Kavkaz".
