Head of Buynaksk City Council complains about threats from Mayor's relatives
Zaur Shakhverdiev, Chairman of the Buynaksk Council of Deputies, has filed to the Russian FSB Department for Dagestan a complaint, in which he reported on threats voiced against him and another deputy by a relative of the City Mayor.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 16, law enforcers did not allow holding the public meeting with members of the City Council from the "Party of Veterans of Russia". According to Deputy Gasan Malikov, during the dispersal of the rally, seven deputies of the local City Council were injured, and they filed complaints about the police actions to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), FSB, and the Investigating Department for Dagestan of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF). Seven participants of the rally will be brought to administrative responsibility, an official for the MIA reports.
On October 19, Zaur Shakhverdiev filed an official complaint to Omar Chanakhanov, Chief of the Division for Buynaksk of the Russian FSB Department for the Republic of Dagestan. In his complaint, Zaur Shakhverdiev has claimed the threats against him and Deputy Marat Djankhaev voiced by a relative of the City Mayor.
Besides, Zaur Shakhverdiev also reports that Gamzatov voiced threats against Marat Djankhaev, a deputy of the City Council.
