FSB fighter wounded in special operation in Khasavyurt District
A Russian FSB fighter was wounded in the course of the armed clash with four members of the "Khasavyurt" grouping of militants, the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reports.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that this morning, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime has been introduced in the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan. In the course of the special operation, law enforcers killed four persons. Two of the killed men were identified as Rasul Sardarov and Alkhas Sardarov. They were wanted on suspicion of killing the Imam of the mosque in the village of Novy Kurush in Dagestan, committed on September 9.
In the course of the armed clash, a Russian FSB special forces fighter was wounded, the spokesman for the Information Centre of the NAC reports.
"According to the NAC's operational information, the killed men were members of the so-called 'Khasavyurt' criminal grouping," the "TASS" quoted the NAC's spokesman as reporting.
No civilians suffered in the incident, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
