CTO legal regime introduced in Derbent District of Dagestan

In the Derbent District of Dagestan, law enforcers are searching for suspected militants. The counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime has been introduced within the administrative borders of the Derbent District.

The CTO legal regime was introduced at 7:00 a.m. of October 15.

"We take measures to find and neutralize militants," an official from the operational headquarters of the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) for Dagestan reported as quoted by the "TASS".

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the CTO legal regime was introduced within the territory of the Tsumada District on October 13. It was preceded by an attack on policemen in the village of Kvanada on October 8.
