Resident of Dagestan sentenced for involvement in armed underground
The Soviet District Court of Makhachkala has sentenced local resident Ibyadullakh Kuduev to 5 years of imprisonment for involvement in an illegal armed formation (IAF).
The Court has sentenced Ibyadullakh Kuduev to 5 years of imprisonment in a common-security penal colony with restriction of liberty for a term of 1 year, the website of the Dagestani Prosecutor's Office reports.
In October, in Dagestan, the courts repeatedly pronounced decisions in the criminal cases related to the militants' activities.
So, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 9, it became known that the Suleiman-Stalsky District Court found a resident of the village of Kasumkent guilty of aiding and abetting members of the criminal grouping "Southern" and illegal possession of ammunition and sentenced him to 7 years of imprisonment in a common-security penal colony. On the same day, the Tlyarata District Court sentenced a resident of the Dagestan village of Khibyatli to 5 years and 4 months of imprisonment in a penal colony prison for aiding and abetting a member of an illegal armed formation (IAF).
